Transfer stations
Transfer stations make it possible to optimize the costs of transporting waste to its destination, generally at a great distance from its place of generation.
In the case of municipal solid waste (MSW), the collection trucks unload the waste in the transfer station to continue with the collection. Meanwhile, the waste is introduced and compacted inside containers, that once filled are transported by container trucks to the treatment plant or to the landfill.
Likewise, the refuse of the classification plants or of any company can also be transferred by means of the same system or through a simpler equipment, such as static compactors and self-compactors.
INNOVACIONES IMABE supplies fully automatic, semi-automatic or manual installations depending on the required production and the space available, with direct gravity unloading or by metal feeder, with or without a container transfer system, etc.
