The coil cutting process is carried out progressively and continuously. It begins with the placement of the paper reel (depending on the machine model) in the cutting area.
Said cutting area is located above ground level, to facilitate the placement of large paper reels. The cutting area is constructed in the form of a prism, in order to prevent the paper reel from moving from the area of cutting, due to the action of the blade.
When the paper reel is arranged to be cut in half in the form of sheets, the cutting action is carried out by vertical displacement of the blade. This downward vertical displacement is produced by the action of two double acting high-power hydraulic cylinders. As the blade cut the reel, the paper opens in the form of sheets facilitating the cutting action.
Once the cutting action is finished, when the cutting blade back switch is pressed, it automatically ascends.
